Keeping Warm and Cost of Living support.
The winter months can bring added challenges, for those living alone or isolated – so this is an even more important time to look out for your neighbours, check in, lend an extra helping hand and let them know they are not alone, as our amazing volunteers do all year round for so many.
Good Neigbours-Rural Peterborough (GNRP) also runs Warm Hubs/Teas in Eye, Glinton, Newborough, Thorney. These are free sessions, in warm places, with a hot drink, cake and good company. Find out more here
GNRP is also one of the Peterborough Community HUBS, set-up to enable access to cost of living support for residents across the city and we focus on that support reaching rural residents. The Hubs provide a combination of support from; Cafes, warm spaces, food parcels/vouchers and energy and warmth related essentials. Find out more here.
